Integrated Intelligent Control
The control logic is fully integrated into the NAUTY 900 and E-Drive 800 electronic modules, enabling:
- Automatic shifting between first and second gear
- Configurable RPM thresholds for seamless transitions
- Constant torque management during gear change
- 3-level regenerative electric braking
- Energy recovery and reduced brake wear
Braking can also be modulated in real time through the accelerator pedal, with a customizable deceleration profile (e.g. sharper at low speed, smoother at higher speed).
Real Road Tests – Proven Technology
To validate the electronic gear motor, FACOS developed three functional prototype vehicles based on electric Fiat Pandas.
These vehicles were equipped with:
- The patented dual-winding motor
- NAUTY 900 / E-Drive 800 modules
- A complete FACOS electric traction system
The vehicles have already covered over 30,000 km in real road conditions over more than two years, with no technical issues.
The technology is tested, tangible, and ready for integration in OEM vehicles.

COMPABILITY
The FACOS system is fully compatible with standard synchronous brushless motors , whether supplied by us or by the customer.
