BATTERY PACK
Energy storage system based on up to 16 LiFePO₄ battery modules, connected in series and engineered for professional applications.
Each module integrates a BMS Slave for continuous monitoring of:
- Cell voltage and temperature monitoring
- Active balancing
- SOC (State of Charge) and SOH (State of Health) calculation
- Data transmission via CAN-BUS
Communication in cascaded multi-drop CAN network.
EPM900
Energy & Power Management
Intelligent module for high-voltage battery pack safety management and 12 V / 100 A auxiliary power generation.
Compact unit with embedded logic, positioned between the Battery Pack and the traction controller (NAUTY 900 / E-DRIVE 800).
Main features:
- Integrated HV contactors
- High-voltage protection
- DC-DC Converter: 12V / 100A output for auxiliary services
- Smart pre-charge for safe power-up without inrush current
- Interlock management:
- Detection of premature opening of HV connector auxiliary contacts
- Automatic and irreversible galvanic disconnection via contactor opening
EV SOCKET
Charging port for external AC infrastructure (e.g., wall box).
Directly connected to the integrated charger in NAUTY 900 / E-DRIVE 800.
Power Unit
NAUTY 900 / E-DRIVE 800
Alternative modules with identical functional architecture, selectable according to the power level required by the application.
Integrated functions:
- BMS Master for battery pack coordination
- Driver for electric motor (E-MOT)
- Integrated AC charger (via EV Socket)
- Bidirectional CAN-BUS management
- Powered directly by EPM900 through Vin Driver and Vin Charger lines
- Direct connection to EV Socket for charging from wall box
CAN-BUS Multi-Drop Network
High-reliability communication network connecting:

Based on a proprietary CAN J1939 protocol.
Onboard Display
Dashboard display developed in-house by FACOS with custom software.
Mounted on electric vehicles to show real-time system parameters:

- Communication via CAN-BUS
IoT Module
Remote telemetry device with data transmission via GPRS network.
Captures and relays all messages on the FACOS CAN-BUS network.
